WSIB/WCB Registration (ON,BC,AB)

WSIB is similar to domestic workers' compensation insurance. WSIB stands for the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. Except for certain industries, employers are required by their respective provincial laws to purchase this workers' compensation insurance for their employees.

If you recently registered your business with ServiceOntario, you may also need to register with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). If you have employees, including full-time, part-time, contract, temporary workers, students and/or family members, or if you run a construction business, please visit wsib.ca for more information on registering with us.

By registering with us and paying premiums, your business will gain WSIB coverage, which means you will:

After you place the order, you will receive a registration form to complete. This form collects the information required to submit your WSIB / WCB registration. Our accountant will review it and forward it to the WSIB/WCB organization. We will contact you promptly if any information is missing.

Are you engaged in any of the following occupations?

• I run a construction business.
• I run a restaurant or bar.
• I run a sales and service, agricultural, or manufacturing business.
• I run a business in the freight or transportation industry.
• I am a homeowner or private resident who employs a domestic worker such as a nanny, babysitter, cook, gardener, handyman, housekeeper, maid, etc.
• I run any of the following businesses: Banking, trust, and insurance companies. Trade federations. Private schools or private daycare centers. Trade agencies. Photographers. Hairdressers and many hair salons (with exceptions). Funeral coordinators, etc.

To a large extent, you will need to register with WSIB/WCB.
